Here is where I leave you

My best friend has taken a different path on the road of life......his life here on this earth suddenly cut short.
My school day romance....turned into a marriage, a beautiful daughter, and lots of happy times.
My confidante and protector, my rock.....my "I will always love you."
No more will I hear your spoken words, just a whisper in the wind is all that will remain.
Beautiful memories and cherished moments....our daughter I will treasure more dearly.
Go peacefully my dear friend, travel the spiritual journey and enjoy all the beauty that it has to offer.
You will be in my heart forever.
Rest in Peace.

Yesterday in a beautiful Service of Thanksgiving I laid my dear ex-hubby to rest with a heavy heart and many many tears.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that

God was going to call your name

In life we loved you dearly

In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone;

For part of us went with you.

The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,

Your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.

  6. An encounter with life’s greatest mystery. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

I have been risky in my endeavors,
I have been steadfast in my loves,
Oh Lord, consider these when you judge me.

    1. Thank you Linda for your condolences....the photo is indeed beautiful. It was taken on the north coast of the island after we left the funeral home.....he loved fishing, ....so I thought it was appropriate.
