It's April already!!!

I remember January, the beginning of the new year....opened with a bang and disappeared just as quick.
I think I remember February too which went by like a speeding bullet.
Where on earth did March go?  I have no idea.
We are now in April ....APRIL....a quarter of the year has passed already and so much has happened for 2019.
I have been knee deep BUSY in project after project after project.

There was a Lunar Eclipse back in January.

The sad passing of James Ingram later that month shook me to the core.
James Edward Ingram
February 16, 1952 - January 29, 2019
A Grammy Award winning American singer, songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist.
I happened to be online when the news broke and my world stopped.
At 66 years young his brain cancer had won finally.
His passing affected me more than I ever thought it would.
I started to write a memorial and just couldn't finish it back then but I wanted to recognise him and express how thankful I am to have  his music in my life....THANK YOU JAMES!!!

James at his best on Jay Leno here.
"Baby Come to Me" here.
"Just Once" here.
And my favourite "Ya Mo Be There" here
A memorial in song here.

Rest in Peace James.

Then there was the 143rdWestminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

"King Arthur Van Foliny Home" — Fox Terrier (Wire)

Best in Show Winner 2019

King the Fox Terrier won the 143rdWestminster Kennel Club Dog Show 2019 taking home the Best in Show award.
With his magnificent beard he beat out the other competitors to take home the coveted award for 2019.
Seven-year-old King is currently the most victorious dog in his breed nationwide so the Westminster win was the ultimate icing on the cake.

A wire fox from Brazil who's won big in Europe, he is the 15th wire fox terrier to win best in show.
Controversy reigned  as the viewers were outraged, instead calling for Best in Show to be awarded to the exquisite long haired dachshund named Burns.
Congratulations King!!

We continue to be wrapped in lovely breezes coming from the north (remnants of cold fronts) and sometimes swamped with the Sahara Dust which leads to incredible sunsets like this one.
After a hard days work it's nice to be rewarded with a gift from nature...a beautiful end to a day.
 So this is April.......
