The daughter of his friend Pat works aboard as the Boutique Manager, and manages all the shops on the ship. What an exciting job........sailing from port to port.....while being on duty.
The Riviera
It was a cloudy day, with a few scattered rain showers, but I still managed to get a few shots.
The Riviera was the only cruise ship docked in the harbour for the day.
Here is her parting shot.
Bye!! See you next time!!!
Here is a link with more info.
Thanks Virginia. I have passed on the link so that Pat can see the photos.
ReplyDeleteIt was no problem...my thanks go out to you too.
DeleteHello Virginia,
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you to publish two pictures of Riviera. It has made Kate seem a little bit closer - especially as Christmas looms ever nearer.
Thank you so much - With good wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Pat
Hi Pat, glad that you enjoyed the Riviera photos, and you were able to feel closer to Kate. I took a few more, but as it was a cloudy day, I only posted the best ones.
DeleteMaybe next time she is in port, I can pop down and say "hi."
I had thought too, that there was a webcam aboard like some of the other cruise liners, so that you can actually see the deck in real time, but I did not find it online. Maybe you can check with her on that feature aboard her ship.
Wishing you and yours all the best of everything for the holidays and the new year.
I wish I were on vacation to a beautiful tropical island right now!! Merry Christmas!! :o)
ReplyDeleteOne of these days...one of these good old days...keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.
