Yesterday, we paid tribute to the life of a great lady.
My mentor, my friend, my Mums....gone too soon.
Oh I never knew all the words to taps, great words to farewell someone who obviously was greatly loved by you.
ReplyDeleteTaps is a bit longer with a few more verses, but in Girl Guides we only ever sung the first verse.
ReplyDeleteAnother one of my "Mums" gone on to rest. I only have one more Mums now to treasure.
You commented recently that you were always learning from my posts. Well I learn from yours too: usually about your country and so on. This time it is 'taps'. I had no idea that that post was called taps and I certainly didn't know the words.
