Juicing is good for you..........NOT!

Juicing is good for you.
Yeah juicing!!
Apparently this is the best way of ingesting our daily recommendation of fruits and veggies.
Today, I am the bearer of bad news.  I am here to tell you that juicing is not all that it is touted to be.
Grabbed my toothbrush to brush my teeth..........and nothing......no familiar soothing hum....nada.......zilch......
Realized the battery in my toothbrush was "juicing", and so the darn thing didn't work.
You know how these batteries are sometimes, they "juice" all over the place, releasing all the battery acid into the electrical components and rendering them useless in the blink of an eye.

Replaced it with a new battery but still nothing.  Well what do you know?  Juicing isn't that great after all.

My overworked toothbrush was all juiced out.

  1. After seeing your title, I was totally pissed since we recently bought a juicer. You got me! I'll get you back though!

  2. How very irritating. I didn't realise that a leaking battery was called juicing. I think I had better check the battery in mine. I have one from the US though which is completely sealed and the battery is getting on in years and then the whole thing will need replacing.

  4. Mark - Gotcha!!!

GB - The correct word would be "leaking" I suppose, but 'juicing" paints a better picture.
Our words are very descriptive when we speak here on the island.
Hope that toothbrush in storage is not a goner.

Helen - thanks for the kind offer sweetie...will take you up on it.

  7. Linda, I'm enjoying my fresh fruit...it's that season in the tropics. Some smoothies are being enjoyed as well.
My friend Helen is donating a new battery brush when I see her later today...she took pity on my plight.
